Let’s Get This Lit

During this full day workshop we will be covering all you need to get started in off camera flash. From the gear needed to get started, camera setup though to the fundamentals of using off camera flash.

Whilst I have always said light is light we do have various types of light that we can find ourselves working with.

Natural Light
Available Light Indoors (Lamps, Room Lights, Window Light)
Constant Light (Video LED Lights)
Flash - This is the one we will be working with.

Once you have a good understanding of the fundamentals of using flash you will also have a good understanding of using other types of light as our basic camera exposure options all tie in together.

This workshop will break it down for you.

I run these workshops as an open floor so questions can be asked throughout. Also I recommend making use of your phone camera to take reference shots of the lighting setups as we set them up and should you wish to bring a note pad to jot any notes down.

The workshops are limited to 6 spaces to give each photographer attending a chance to shoot and also ask any questions they may have.

45 Min Lunch break included. (you are welcome to bring your own, drinks and snacks will be provided)
Wrap 5pm

Parking

Whilst the studio has on site packing it is shared among building tenant's. Please pay attention to parking signage when you arrive and do not park in Allen Howards gated section up the ramp as they will lock the gates when they close.
