I recently had the pleasure of photographing the Pollitt & Holland family at my Stockport studio. What a ton of fun it was.
It was amazing to meet everyone with Sofia, Poppy & Joseph being the stars of the show. I get told often to never work with children and animals although I have no idea why… all my clients and their little ones have been nothing but perfect. I really enjoy getting to know and working with local families.
We spent the whole session in the studio with the cold weather beng so bad recently, but I cannot wait to get out on to location as the better weather rolls in.
During the session we spent some time on the White Seamless and then grabbed some black & white one light group portraits at the end.
On to the images.
After the white seamless set and a lot of frames later we switched it up to just a simple grey background and got some group shots. Sometimes you can’t get the adults to step in front of the camera… thankfully this time was not one of them.
We got some great group shots, one of which caught Joseph sneezing and everyone’s reaction after. I love moments like this.
We all then ganged up on Jonny and got him in front of the camera by himself.
With shooting tethered during this session it meant the clients coudl take a look at the images at the end of the shoot.
