It's Christmas Eve and 2017 is drawing to a close, as years go Iโm not going to miss it to be honest but I though I would share 10 of my favourite images made during this year. This may become a regular thing (if I remember ๐ ).
Before we get to the images I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a great 2018. Ok enough words more photographs. In no set order.
The St. Helens Wedding of Mr & Mrs Henry (Mike & Catherine)
In November I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Katherine and Mike in St Helens. I worked with my good friend and 2nd shooter Stuart through the day.
We had 2 venues to cover.
1. Ceremony โ Held at the beautiful St Maryโs Lowe House. Seriously that place is huge inside. Great place to work in because you have a ton of room to work in.
2. Reception โ Held at Ruskin Drive Sportsground which has a nice function room with plenty of room and if you time it right some helpful light from the bank of windows on the left of the room ๐
The day was amazing and myself and Stuart enjoyed meeting all the friends and family of the bride and groom.
We started the day at St Maryโs arriving early to await guests arriving and to get some details covered.
The Wedding of Mr & Mrs Charnock - 14th Oct 2017
On Oct 14th 2017 I had the pleasure and honor of photographing the wedding of Lee & Jane Charnock and what a day it was.
We started off at St Luke with All Saints Church for the ceremony where family and friends joined Lee & Jane to share their special day. St Lukes is a large grand church that is also Grade 2 listed.
Mr & Mrs Woodland - A July Nottingham Wedding
In July this year I had the pleasure of being part of and photographing the wedding of Barry & Donna at the Bestwood Lodge Hotel and what a weekend it was.
When Barry & Donna contacted me about wedding photography I said yes quicker than any bride or groom has ever done, the reason is I have known Barry for a good few years and it always an honor to provide photography for a friend especially at such a milestone event in their families lives.
I decided to head over the day before to avoid an early start on the day and mitigate any risk of hitting traffic, it was also handy staying at the one venue for the whole day. I arrived in the afternoon the day before the wedding and met Donna, Family and friends in the hotel bar before we had a late lunch. It was great to meet everyone the day before, introduce myself and get to know the family.
Within a few minutes I could tell that it was going to be a great weekend spent with some great people. I even got to play Bull Dog with the children during the evening. Apparently, they are much better at it than I am.
